It is difficult to know how to express sympathy to the family of a Scouter who has died. One of the best ways, and one that is appreciated, is a gift to the Council Endowment Trust Fund. This is also a fine way to let a Scouter know you care if their spouse or member of their family dies.
A gift to the Trust Fund can also be a fitting tribute for congratulations or celebration of a happy occasion; a birthday, wedding anniversary, birth of a child or grandchild. Scouters can do this for themselves or others for them.
Memorial and Tribute gifts are remembered. They also help assure Scouting in the future. An individual can make a donation to the Hawk Mountain Council Memorial/Tribute fund in memory of a loved one or in honor of a friend, associate, relative or just someone you would like to say thanks to in this way.
